ClassWeb Features

ClassWeb is a system of database-driven class websites that can be administered by instructors using a standard web browser. UCLA Social Sciences Computing has been developing and using ClassWeb since 1997 with over 300 class websites per quarter. This template- and database-driven, server-side software features the following:

Student access to ClassWeb sites is read-only, except for discussion boards where students are allowed to post messages. The instructor can require that people posting messages provide id and password information, thus limiting discussion boards to students only.
